i'm still not dead! -- 2/04/09
yessss, i've been a bad kitty kat. in the two years since i last posted here though, I've done the following:
- redecorated/designed the interior of my apartment 3 times (not with money but with volunteer labor)
- gotten promoted a my job (finally, after years of suffering)
- travelled to prague, london, edinburgh, singapore, the phillippines, hawaii, miami, nyc, boston, seattle, san diego, los angeles, las vegas, and touched the glory of beautiful places and things and history within these places. it's been a once in a lifetime experience, and i'm grateful. it's given me tons of fodder for future writing.
- discovered qi gong and meditation
- gotten my astrological profiles, charts, reports, and tarot readings with psychic input, and numerological profiles, reports, etc., run and read and interpreted frequently as i searched deep inside myself for answers and happiness
- read many many books, erotic, fantasy, and scifi
- joined the association of erotic artists (UK) who will be profiling me in an upcoming issue
- joined the Romance Writers of America, and the Passionate Ink Chapter (erotica ;), and even went to the RWA conference in 2008!

the worderotic news report - february 2009
it's fucking DONE! my first "real" erotic novel
i finally finished writing the first draft of The Great Erotic Magnum Opus. it was painful. i have no fucking idea why it took me so long. ok i do, but we'll save that for when i get interviewed and make the NYTimes bestseller list!
i technically finished the draft in feb 2008 and didn't touch it except off and on for short bouts through the year. until a sudden wave of editor's viagra hit me and i've been banging my way through chapter after chapter and at this juncture 50% done editing and getting close to something i can submit.
while doing so, this unfolded ...
sequels
looks like this story is so complicated and big with so many characters having so many intense relationships, sexual and otherwise, that i had to cut it off at some point and am going to do a sequel. which, if you end up liking the characters, could actually be, well ... good for you AND me.
novellas
a lot of weird dark things pop up in my head and i often start a story with a few burning images and never finish. many of those are still very viable stories, i just need to discipline myself to stick to them and see them through.
while working on the Magnum Erotic Opus, TM, two very intense erotic stories sprang up. they took me to some powerful dark places. i got other writer's feedback on them ... i scared some people. to me that was a good thing.
so as soon as i wrap up and send out the Magnum Erotic Opus, TM, i will be wrapping those up and sending those out. what you might start to see is less free stuff here ... and more of me pushing the purchase of my hard work. sad, but true. don't hate me, just buy me. if i can make a living doing this ... i can write you all the stories you want and throw in some free ones, too. ;)

no i'm not dead! -- 7/28/07
i've been getting emails reminding me to get my butt in gear with more stories! i really appreciate your feedback and am always grateful when anyone enjoys my writing. that keeps me trying harder and keeps me motivated.
i wanted to give an update so you know where my head's at with this site and my writing in general.
this site began in my freshman college dorm room in 1997, and it was originally built around my erotic poetry. it took two years to get a handful of stories up, most of them short. i was actually taking short story writing classes for my major, so this forced me to stay "in the zone."
normally, i don't write short stories frequently by nature. as a libra i'll meditate on something for months before i do it, to be sure of how i want it done before i start. then i do it superfast. :)
so, the stories i've posted have never been frequent, but that what i do post tends to be hot and long!
i do know that i've been slacking in the shorter stories! and for that matter, in poetry, which was my first erotic writing love. for that, i'm sorry, and i appreciate your patience.
there are other factors to share ...

my first "real" erotic novel
i've never posted this here but since 2003 i've had a chronic medical problem that only started to show signs of leaving at the beginning of 2006. for long periods i was bedridden and in no mood to write sexy!
at the end of 2005, i got the idea for a major story in my head. i've always wanted to publish an erotica novel but never had a major idea to see it through. i do now, and it's big sexy memoirs-of-a-geisha/emmanuel style. it's very rich, intense, graphic, sizzling, and dramatic.
this whopper requires research and takes a lot of energy - it's 95% done and when i get here, i can shop for an agent and get this sucker published. after that my writing energy will be more available to spend elsewhere (stories, stories, i know ;).
future story postings
i do have several stories in my head, but many are long! i'll be able to post a few more chapters up of the Mia series, and some other pieces are still rolling around my head.
poetry - i haven't been so lyrically inspired, those must come when they come, i've always had a rule about that.

i've begun recording erotic stories by other writers. they're not posted here because they're not published yet, and i don't own them. one audio publisher is developing its website, and will be featuring my voice reading their stories in the future - we've locked down two, and will hopefully do more. i'll be sure to post more on my homepage and let you know when/where you can find me reading these:
